My love for self-organization
As I have begun to observe my reading habits this year, a pattern has already emerged. The hours I spend on Goodreads must definitely be more than those spent on Facebook but perhaps not Insta, although that is another story altogether. So I dug deeper to understand what it is that makes me tick. The two major themes that I follow while picking up a book to read is that I should be interested in earning more about the topic - it could be something I have minimal knowledge of or something that I am deeply interested in. Any information that I gather is stored away in neat compartments in my head. Secondly, it is relate-able - either I am able to imagine myself in that situation (or want to be in a similar situation in my fantasies) or I have come close to experiencing something and want to know how others have dealt with it.
